Kitchen Ceiling Repair Before Repaint, Glen Mills
After 20 years without fresh paint, this Glen Mills home was ready for a careful reset. It was completed on a tight holiday schedule with no room for delays.

The problem
The homeowner hadn’t painted in two decades, and everyday wear had taken its toll. Several dogs, both past and present, had damaged walls and trim throughout the home, leaving scratches, dents, and chipped areas that needed proper repair.
Recent plumbing work had also required ceiling repairs, adding another layer of prep before painting could begin. On top of that, the client had just invested in a new backsplash, so timing and coordination with other trades was critical. With her holiday work schedule, the entire project had to be completed in exactly two days. No extensions.
What we did
We scheduled our work after the tile installers were fully finished to ensure the new backsplash stayed protected and untouched. Our crew focused first on moderate drywall and trim repairs, carefully restoring damaged areas so they would disappear once painted.
Protective coverings were used throughout the space to keep cabinets, appliances, and new surfaces safe. Crew leader Virgilio handled detailed ceiling and wall repairs to ensure a smooth, uniform finish. Once prep was complete, we moved efficiently through priming and painting, keeping the project precisely on schedule.
How it turned out
The home was fully repaired and repainted within the two-day window, exactly as promised. Walls, trim, and ceilings looked clean, consistent, and refreshed, with no sign of the previous damage.
The new backsplash was perfectly complemented by the updated paint, tying the entire space together. The homeowner was so pleased with both the results and the timing that she left a five-star review before we even finished cleaning up. The project delivered a fresh start without disrupting her busy holiday schedule.
The team did a beautiful job! Rick worked with my schedule which was great.
