For this office renovation in Swarthmore, the goal was to create a space that felt more welcoming and visually interesting than a standard workplace. Instead of sticking with plain neutrals alone, we used a palette of light pink and blue tones supported by warmer colors to give the office a softer, more comfortable feel. The result is a workspace that feels brighter, more intentional, and more enjoyable to spend time in, a space that balances professionalism with personality. The problem

Office spaces can easily feel too cold, too plain, or too utilitarian.

The challenge on this project was to introduce color in a way that made the space feel warmer and more appealing, while still keeping it clean, polished, and appropriate for a working environment.

The pink and blue tones needed to add character without overwhelming the space.

What we did

We approached the space with a palette built around light pink and blue, supported by warm tones that helped everything feel balanced.

Rather than making the office feel overly bold or trendy, the color choices were used to brighten the space, soften the atmosphere, and create a more welcoming environment for the people who use it every day.

By keeping the colors light and coordinated, we were able to give the office personality while still maintaining a clean and professional overall look.

How it turned out

The finished office feels noticeably more inviting.

The light pink and blue tones add subtle character, while the warmer supporting colors help the space feel comfortable and cohesive.

Instead of a generic office environment, the renovation created a setting that feels more thoughtful, more uplifting, and more aligned with the experience people want when they walk into the space.
