The homeowners were in the middle of renovating their Philadelphia home, but there was one important constraint: they were getting ready to travel. They wanted the work completed before they left, which meant the project needed more than a good finished product. It needed a clear plan, reliable scheduling, and a crew that could keep everything moving without sacrificing the details along the way. We organized the project around their deadline, completed the work on schedule, and gave them the chance to leave for their trip with the renovation behind them instead of hanging over their heads. The problem
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Renovations already involve a lot of moving pieces. In this case, the homeowners also had an upcoming trip, so letting the project drag on wasn't really an option.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The challenge was to complete the work within their available window while still giving the home the level of preparation and finish it deserved.</span>
What we did
<span style="font-weight: 400;">We planned the project around the homeowners' travel date and kept the work moving from one stage to the next.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">That meant coordinating the work carefully, staying on top of the schedule, and making sure that moving quickly didn't turn into rushing the job.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The goal was simple: when we gave them a completion date, they needed to be able to plan around it.</span>
How it turned out
<span style="font-weight: 400;">We completed the project before the homeowners' trip as planned. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Instead of leaving town with an unfinished renovation waiting for them at home, they were able to leave with the project completed and come back to a finished space. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">For us, that's part of what a successful painting project should look like. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The finished walls matter. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">But so does doing what we said we were going to do, when we said we were going to do it.</span>
