Interior Painting- Merion Station

The problem

This Merion Station project was for a repeat customer moving into a new home after a frustrating experience with a previous painter working under a general contractor. That earlier job had been rushed and disorganized, with poor preparation and inconsistent workmanship once the lead painter was pulled off the project.

Understandably, continuity of quality was a top concern for both homeowners. On top of that, the homeowner was scheduled for knee surgery just days after our projected end date, making on-time completion critical. The home also required significant wall and ceiling repairs throughout the hallways and foyers before any painting could begin.

What we did

We assigned a dedicated crew and kept the same team on-site from start to finish to ensure consistent workmanship and accountability. Because of the amount of repair work involved, we invested extra time upfront protecting floors, sealing off areas, and controlling dust to keep the home clean and safe throughout the process. Our team repaired all walls and ceilings, then oil-primed all hallway doors and trim to properly bond with the existing oil-based coating.

From there, we applied two finish coats of Duration Satin for a smooth, durable result. Daily updates from Dani kept the homeowners fully informed; who would be arriving, what work was planned, and where we’d be working each day.

How it turned out

The project was completed on schedule, giving the homeowner peace of mind ahead of surgery and eliminating any last-minute stress. The hallways and foyers were transformed with clean lines, smooth finishes, and consistent detail throughout.

The homeowners appreciated the punctuality, communication, and overall organization of the process, especially after their prior experience. Most importantly, the job felt painless from start to finish and the final result met the level of care they had been hoping for.
